Punjabi Tuition 1:1 (or small groups)
Teaching Techniques:
We have a Montessori and hands-on approach to teaching.
Also every one of our tutors are fluent English speaking, which means they can explain concepts to you in a way and style that you will understand and connect with.
For Speaking:
We take one topic at a time and switch out your normal day-to-day conversations from English to Punjabi.
Whether its "Hey. How are you?", or "I'm leaving now, see you later", or "I'm hungry what shall we eat".
Switching out day-to-day conversations builds confidence, curiosity and we learn the sentence structure while still being able to hold a conversation.
For Reading/Writing:
We will take a few letters at a time and learn to recognise them and make simple words from the first lesson. This builds interest and basic skills from day 1 for reading and writing.
How does it work?
A workbook is provided which can be printed or used electronically.
We work together with lots of practical activities.
We provide all resources including flashcards, games, videos, etc.
We use Google Meet to do the online tuition.
All below prices are invoiced monthly
Monthly blocks:
1 student for 1 hour: £30
+ any additional students: £15 each additional student
Monthly 30 minute blocks:
1 student for 30 minutes: £25
+ any additional students: £12.50 each additional student
*Pricing may vary if you have come through a third party website
We do provide Pay As You Go option, with payment prior to the lesson.
Due to the extra admin involved, the prices are reflected as so.
Pay As You Go:
1 student for 1 hour: £35
+ any additional students: £17.50 each additional student

I have 10+ years experience in tutoring - both Math and Punjabi. I have taught over 100 students during this time, with great success.
I believe the best way to teach anyone, is to first find the way they learn the best.

Then we use those methods in our classes together!
As the Co-Founder of Nirmolak Heera, I also over see all lessons by all other tutors. Each of the sessions is recorded and reviewed by me to ensure the level of learning and teaching is to a high expectation.

I’m an educator with over six years of teaching experience across Canadian and Indian schools. I have taught a wide range of subjects, including Math and Science, to students from early years through higher grades.
Alongside my classroom experience, I am deeply passionate about teaching Punjabi to both children and adults. Through Nirmolak Heera, I use a creative and interactive approach to language learning, incorporating games, role plays, and hands-on activities to make lessons engaging and meaningful.
