Nirmolak Heera Punjabi Practice Membership

Effective from: 1 September 2026

Thank you for joining the Nirmolak Heera Punjabi Practice Membership.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By purchasing or continuing a membership, you agree to these terms.

1. The Membership

The Punjabi Practice Membership is designed to give you regular opportunities to practise and improve your Punjabi.

Depending on your membership, this may include:

• Live Punjabi speaking practice

• Live Punjabi reading practice

• Voice-note practice between sessions

• Learning resources and activities

• Access to online membership content

• Access to membership groups or communities

The membership is designed for Punjabi practice and is not a replacement for 1:1 tuition.

2. Membership Fees

The membership operates on a monthly subscription.

By subscribing, you agree to pay the monthly membership fee offered at the time you join.

Your payment will be taken automatically each month using your chosen payment method until you cancel your membership.

Your membership price will remain at the rate agreed when you joined unless we notify you of a change.

If you cancel your membership and later decide to rejoin, you will join at the current membership price available at the time you rejoin. Any previous or introductory membership price will no longer apply.

3. Cancelling Your Membership

You can cancel your membership at any time by emailing [email protected].

We require at least 2 working days' notice before your next payment date to ensure your next payment can be stopped.

Please be aware that cancelling your membership removes your access to the membership portal and member-only content immediately due to the way our membership system works.

For this reason, you may wish to cancel towards the end of your current paid billing period if you would like to continue accessing your membership until then.

No pro-rata refunds are provided for unused days or partial months when you choose to cancel.

If your next payment is due within two working days of your cancellation request, we cannot guarantee that the payment can be stopped before it is processed.

4. Live Membership Sessions

Live membership sessions are delivered online.

Session days and times will be communicated to members and may occasionally change.

Our regular live sessions run during all year. There may also be scheduled breaks during school holidays where attendance is expected to be low.

We will let members know about any planned breaks or significant changes to the usual timetable.

5. Missing a Live Session

You do not need to give us notice if you cannot attend a live membership session.

As these are group sessions, missed sessions cannot be individually rescheduled, transferred or credited.

Each live session is recorded and uploaded to the membership portal so that members can catch up if they are unable to attend live.

Choosing not to attend a live session does not entitle you to a full or partial refund of your membership fee.

6. Session Recordings

Live membership sessions are recorded and made available within the membership portal for members to watch back.

By participating in a live session, you understand that your voice, name, video or contributions may appear in the recording.

Recordings are provided for the personal educational use of active members and must not be downloaded, copied, shared, published or distributed outside the membership unless we have specifically provided a download option or given permission.

If you do not wish to appear on camera in a recording, you may keep your camera switched off during the session.

7. Changes or Cancellations by Nirmolak Heera

Occasionally, we may need to change, rearrange or cancel a live session.

Where possible, we will let members know in advance and may provide an alternative session where appropriate.

An individual cancelled or rearranged session will not normally result in a partial refund, provided the overall membership service continues to be delivered.

8. Voice-Note Practice

Where voice-note practice is included in your membership, you can submit practice according to the instructions provided.

Voice-note practice is designed to give you additional opportunities to practise between live sessions.

The amount and type of tutor feedback provided may vary and should not be considered equivalent to private 1:1 tuition.

We ask members to use the voice-note service reasonably and for genuine learning and practice.

9. Membership Access

Your membership is personal and non-transferable.

You must not share your login details, membership access, resources or other member-only content with anyone who does not have an active membership.

You are responsible for activity under your account. If you believe somebody else has gained access to your account, please contact us.

10. Failed Payments

If your membership payment is not received, we may attempt to collect the payment again.

Your access to membership sessions, groups, resources and online content may be suspended until payment has been received.

If payment remains outstanding, your membership may be terminated.

11. Online Content & Site Availability

Where your membership includes access to online content, we aim to keep this available and accessible.

There may occasionally be interruptions because of maintenance, updates or technical issues.

We may also add, update, replace or remove membership content as the membership develops.

Membership does not guarantee permanent access to any particular resource, lesson or piece of content.

12. Learning Resources & Intellectual Property

All worksheets, videos, recordings, activities, teaching resources and other materials created and provided by Nirmolak Heera remain the intellectual property of Nirmolak Heera unless otherwise stated.

Your membership gives you permission to use these materials for your own personal educational purposes.

You may download resources where this option is provided for your own personal use.

You must not copy, reproduce, share, sell, upload, publish or distribute membership content or resources to others without written permission from Nirmolak Heera.

13. Fair Use

Membership resources and services are provided for genuine personal learning and practice.

You must not:

• Share your membership or login details with others.

• Mass-download membership content.

• Use automated tools or scripts to access or download content.

• Share or redistribute member-only resources.

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the membership or another member's account.

• Interfere with the operation of the membership website or services.

• Use membership content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

14. Respecting Other Members

We want the Punjabi Practice Membership to be a welcoming and supportive environment where people feel comfortable practising Punjabi.

Members are expected to treat tutors and other members with respect.

Abusive, discriminatory, threatening, inappropriate or deliberately disruptive behaviour will not be accepted.

Please do not record, screenshot, copy or share another member's messages, voice notes, photographs, videos or contributions outside the membership without their permission.

15. Suspension or Termination

Nirmolak Heera may restrict, suspend or terminate your membership if:

Membership payments remain outstanding.

You share your membership access or resources with others.

You seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms & Conditions.

Your behaviour towards tutors or other members is inappropriate.

You misuse the membership, website or resources.

Where appropriate, we will contact you before terminating your membership.

For serious breaches, we reserve the right to terminate access immediately.

16. Progress

The Punjabi Practice Membership provides opportunities and support to help you practise Punjabi.

Everyone learns at a different pace and progress will depend on factors including attendance, participation and practice.

We cannot guarantee that you will achieve a particular level of Punjabi within a specific period of time.

17. Privacy

We use your personal information to provide and manage your membership.

Further information about how we collect, store and use your personal information can be found in our Privacy Policy.

We will not use photographs, videos, recordings or other identifiable content featuring you for public marketing purposes without the appropriate permission.

18. Changes to the Membership

The Punjabi Practice Membership may develop and change over time.

We may make reasonable changes to session times, tutors, resources, activities, online content or the way the membership is delivered.

If we make a significant change to what is included in your membership, we will give you reasonable notice.

19. Changes to Membership Fees

We may occasionally change the price of the membership.

If a price change affects your existing subscription, we will let you know before the new price takes effect.

You will have the opportunity to cancel your membership before the new price applies.

If you cancel and later rejoin, the membership price available at the time you rejoin will apply.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

If we make a significant change that affects your membership, we will notify you before the change takes effect.

Continued use of the membership after the change takes effect will indicate acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
